Holiday Collection Schedule
The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform its citizens that the collection of recyclable and organic waste will have a special schedule during the holiday season.
For sectors A and B:
- Organic waste will be collected on Tuesdays, December 26 and January 2.
- Recyclables will be collected on Wednesdays, December 27 and January 3.
Starting the week of January 8, these collections will resume on their regularly scheduled days, that is every Monday. For more details on collections, check your collection calendar or visit the web page.
Household waste collection remains on its usual schedule:
- Sector A – December 26 and January 9
- Sector B – December 19 and January 2
Please note that the collection of all natural trees (fir, pine, spruce, birch) will take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Here are the guidelines to follow:
- Trunk diameter must not exceed 13 centimetres (5 inches),
- Tree height must not exceed 2.5 metres (8 feet),
- Decorations must be removed,
- The tree must be placed horizontally at the curb (not vertically in the snow).
