The vernissage picnic returns to the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre!

The City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to announce the return of the vernissage picnic, an event much appreciated by our citizens! 

This Sunday, July 7, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., everyone is invited to the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre for a day of activities and celebrations. 

As of 12 p.m., bring your picnic and enjoy a breathtaking view of magnificent Lake Saint-Louis. Treats and beverages will be available on site, and many activities await you: 

  • Creative workshops on the terrace, inspired by works in the new exhibition, with artist Poline Harbali and our cultural mediation team 
  • Demonstration and family workshop with the Lakeshore Needlework Guild 
  •  Demonstration with the Lakeshore Weavers Guild 
  • Outdoor painting in Stewart Park with members of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour 

Starting at 2 p.m., you’re invited to head to the Stewart Hall Art Gallery to celebrate the launch of the new exhibition Prendre empreinte Holding Knowledge, in the company of the exhibition’s four artists, Poline Harbali, Jeanette Johns, Celia Perrin Sidarous and Swapnaa Tamhane. 

Stewart Hall Cultural Centre is located at 176 Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road. Reservations are not required for these activities.
